Pole Clips HD (2) 3/4"
Gear up for your next outdoor adventure with our rugged Stayput Pole Clips, engineered to keep your pole anchors secured and ready for anything the water throws your way. This isn't just about storage — it's about quick, reliable access when every second counts.
Each set includes two heavy-duty pole clips crafted from premium HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) — the same marine-grade material used in boat cabinetry and dock construction. Unlike traditional imported plastics that become brittle or chalky over time, HDPE maintains its strength, color, and flexibility even after years of UV exposure and saltwater use.
Built to withstand the harshest marine environments, our clips are UV-resistant, non-corrosive, and impact-tough, complete with stainless steel mounting screws for a rock-solid installation. Keep your pole spikes securely mounted, your deck clear, and be ready to drop anchor at a moment’s notice.

Are Pole Clips Made From Cheap Plastic?
Not at all. Stayput Pole Clips are not made from generic or brittle plastics — they’re precision-cut from marine-grade Seaboard, a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material engineered specifically for outdoor and saltwater environments.
Seaboard is known for its UV stability, impact resistance, and zero water absorption, making it far more durable than molded plastics commonly found in low-cost accessories. Each clip is CNC-machined in-house to ensure a perfect fit and smooth operation, then hand-finished to remove any micro-burrs that could cause abrasion or loosen over time.
How are the StayPut Pole Spikes Made?
Each Stayput Pole Spike starts with solid, resin-injected virgin fiberglass — the same high-grade material trusted in marine and industrial applications for its strength, stiffness, and corrosion resistance.
Unlike hollow poles or composite blends, our spikes are 100% solid fiberglass, meaning there are no weak points, seams, or air pockets that can compromise performance. During production, the fiberglass strands are pultruded through a precision die and infused with a marine-grade resin system, ensuring consistent density and flex characteristics from end to end.
Once cured, each pole is cut to length, hand-finished, and inspected to meet Stayput’s strength and straightness standards. The result is a pole spike that’s rigid enough to hold in tough bottom conditions, yet has just enough flex to absorb shock and protect your mount hardware.
How do I choose the right shallow water anchor for my boat?
- Boat weight and length – Lighter boats under 3,500 lbs pair perfectly with Stayput Anchors.
- Typical water depth – Match your pole length to the depth you usually fish in, then add 2 feet.
- Mounting location – Bow, stern, or side mounts each offer unique control depending on your setup and fishing style.
Every boat and angler is a little different, so if you’re unsure — reach out to our team. One of our knowledgeable staff members can help you select the perfect Stayput setup for your boat and fishing conditions.
What Sets StayPut Apart From Other Companies with Pole Spikes and Mounts?
What makes Stayput different comes down to design, materials, and mission.
We build every Stayput product with one goal in mind — to give shallow-water boaters a smarter, simpler way to anchor. Unlike many off-the-shelf systems that cut corners on materials or import parts from overseas, every Stayput Anchor is engineered, machined, and assembled right here in the USA.
Our pole spikes are made from solid, resin-injected virgin fiberglass — not hollow or blended composites. This gives you unmatched strength, stiffness, and longevity. Our mounts are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 marine-grade aluminum, powder-coated or anodized for corrosion resistance, and designed to fit a wide range of boats — from kayaks and microskiffs to bay boats and pontoons.
We also focus on modularity and real-world use. Every Stayput system is built to grow with you — handles, extensions, and mounts all work together so you can adapt to new water depths, new boats, and new fishing styles without replacing your entire setup.
Is StayPut Better Than A Powered Pole?
Both electric and hydraulic anchoring systems have their place, but for most shallow-water boaters, Stayput offers a simpler, more reliable, and far more affordable solution.
Powered poles (like hydraulic or electric systems) rely on pumps, wiring, batteries, and seals to operate. That means more weight, more maintenance, and more things that can fail, especially in salt, mud, and vibration-heavy environments. They also require drilling into your transom, draw constant battery power, and can easily cost $1,500–$3,000+ by the time you’re fully set up.
A Stayput Anchor, on the other hand, does the same job without power, pumps, or noise. It’s a manual system, so it can’t fail electrically or hydraulically — and it lets you anchor instantly, quietly, and precisely in shallow water. No pumps to leak. No batteries to drain. No high-dollar maintenance.
